ABSTRACT

Objective@#To explore the differences of sensory manifestations between ASD children and typical development children, and to clarify the characteristics of sensory abnormalities in ASD and their relationship with various clinical symptoms, so as to provide scientific basis for early identification and specific intervention.@*Methods@#A total of 265 ASD children who received rehabilitation training in autism rehabilitation institutions in Heilongjiang Province were collected as the case group, and 223 typical development children in ordinary kindergartens and schools in Harbin were taken as the control group. Short Sensory Profile (SSP) was used to evaluate the difference of children s sensory perception level between the two groups, and Social Response Scale (SRS) and Autism Behavior Checklist (ABC) were used to evaluate the severity of symptoms including social disorder of autistic children. The correlation between SSP scores in ASD group and clinical scales was analyzed.@*Results@#The comparison of SSP scores between the two groups found that the median scores of all sensory dimensions in ASD group (tactile=33, taste/smell=18, motion sensitivity=13, Low response/sensation seeking=28, auditory filtering=19, low strength=22, visual/auditory=20) were lower than those of the healthy control group( Z =-2.73,-4.36,-3.17,-5.09,-11.00,-10.45,-3.43, P <0.05). The abnormal rate of multisensory score in children in ASD group was 55.1%, and that in control group was 21.2%, with significant difference( χ 2=57.15, P <0.05). Correlation analysis showed that SSP score in ASD group was negatively correlated with all dimensions of SRS, nonverbal communication, and social function of ADI-R scale, ADOS communication and social interaction, and total scores of ABC and CARS( P < 0.05 ).@*Conclusion@#Children with ASD have atypical sensory experiences, especially in auditory filtering dimension, and the level of atypical sensation is related to the severity of clinical symptoms of autism. In the future clinical diagnosis, treatment and research, it is necessary to strengthen the ability to recognize the sensory symptoms of children with ASD, so as to realize the early diagnosis and intervention.

ABSTRACT

Objective To investigate the imaging features of peripheral schwannoma and analyze the relevant pathological basis to improve the preoperative diagnosis. Methods Fifty-one cases with schwannoma confirmed by pathological were analyzed retrospectively, and the CT and MRI findings were studied in correlation with pathological results. Results There were 24 cases in the neck,11 in the chest wall and 16 in the abdominal and pelvis. On the CT plain scan,12 cases showed slightly low and equal density,21 cases showed iso-density,5 cases showed low density. Most of the lesions showed mild to moderate homogenous enhancement and some lesions showed significantly heterogeneous enhancement on contrast-enhanced CT.On T1 WI,4 cases showed hypointense and isointense signal, and 1 case showed mixed signal. All cases showed hyperintense signal or mixed signal on T2 WI and heterogeneous marked enhancement on contrast-enhanced MRI.Conclusion Schwannomas in neck, chest wall, abdominal and pelvic have similar findings on CT and MRI. However, there are characteristic signs in different part.CT and MRI can accurately show the tumor shape, location, internal structure and relationship with adjacent structures, which has important value to diagnosis and differential diagnosis of peripheral schwannoma.

ABSTRACT

Percutaneous imaging-guided cryoablation (PICA) is a recently developed technique, which applies extreme hypothermia to destroy tumors guided with CT,MRI or ultrasound images.Compared with other oncologic cryoablation therapies,PICA has some advantages, such as treating under local anesthesia, superior monitoring capability on multimodal imaging, less intraoperative and postoperative pain and preservation of tissue collagenous architecture. In recent years,PICA has been used in treatment of tumors in lung, liver, kidney, breast, prostate and so on.In this article, the principle of cryoablation and the application progresses of PICA in oncotherapy were reviewed.

ABSTRACT

Objective To discuss the optimalselection of the puncture path in performing CT-guided pericardial drainage, and to evaluate its clinical feasibility and safety. Methods A total of 114 patients with pericardial effusion, who were admitted to authors' hospital during the period from May 2013 to March 2016,were enrolledin this study. The appropriate body position and suitable needle-puncturing route were selected, and CT-guided pericardial drainage with Seldinger'stechnique was performed. Results Successful puncturing and catheter drainage was obtained in all 114 patients,no any serious complication occurred. The time used for manipulation was 18-30 min. Conclusion The use of right puncture path is of great importance for the performance of CT-guided pericardial drainage for pericardial effusion, this technique is highly feasible and safe for relieving the clinical symptoms of pericardial tamponade.

ABSTRACT

Objective To evaluate the value of dynamic contrast-enhanced MRI (DCE-MRI)in diagnosing benign and malignant solitary pulmonary nodule (SPN)with Meta-analysis.Methods The databases including PubMed,EBSCO,Cochrane Library,Ovid, CBM,VIP,Wan Fang Database and CNKI were searched to select the literatures about the diagnosis of SPN with DCE-MRI.Inclusion criteria were established, according to the validity criteria for diagnostic research published by the Cochrane Methods Group on Screening and Diagnostic Tests .Methodological quality was assessed by using the quality assessment of diagnostic studies (QUADAS-2)instrument.Meta-analysis was performed by Stata 12.0 and Meta-Disc 1.4.According to the results of heterogeneity of the included articles, proper effect model was selected to calculate the pooled sensitivity, specificity, positive likelihood ration, negative likelihood ration, and diagnostic odds ratio.Summary receiver operating characteristic (SROC)curve was drawed and the area under the curve (AUC)was calculated. Results A total of 17 studies involving 1255 lesions were included. The results of Meta-analysis showed the pooled sensitivity, specificity, positive likelihood ration, negative likelihood ration, and diagnostic odds ratio were 0.95,0.81,4.9,0.06 and 85,respectively.The AUC of SROC was 0.97.Conclusion DCE-MRI has relatively high sensitivity and specificity in the differential diagnosis of benign and malignant SPN.

ABSTRACT

Objective To investigate the relationship between the 5-lipoxygenase(5-LO) in mouse lung and during infection in the respiratory system. Methods Investigate the expression of 5-LO in the lung of a mouse by immunocytochemistry. Results The intensity of the immune staining against 5-LO antibody was stronger in infected mice than that in non-infected rats.A weaker immuneoreation was observed in the treated group of animals. Conclusion Changes in the expression of 5-LO in pulmonary tisssues could be designed to detect the treatment efficacy during the lung infection.
